Level 1

Starting NPC: Captain Buntattle Buntattle asks you to get a Watchman's Tunic. Get one for free from Tailor Nokar and return to gain level 2.


Level 2

Starting NPC: Captain Buntattle Buntattle sends you to Spiritmaster Kettlemaw who binds you and sends you to Coachman Rizkar. He signs you in and sends you back to Buntattle for experience.


Level 3

Starting NPC: Captain Buntattle Buntattle wants you to learn how to fight. Head out of town and start killing bats until you get two bat wings and then return for experience and a Scroll of Kick.


Level 4

Starting NPC: Sergeant Grem Grem will make you a new weapon if you bring him the following items:

  • An Oilstone - Purchase from Merchant Folsop
  • A Gold Spring - Purchase from Merchant Samwe
  • A Cracked rat tooth
  • A Cracked Firefly Thorax

Your reward is a Guard Sword.


Level 5

Starting NPC: Captain Buntattle Buntattle sends you to get a stunned mindwhipper. Head out the west gate, turn south. Run along the hill until you enter Klick'Anon (SW), you will see a beehive-like structure, surrounded by mindwhippers (CONs red cons red). May need to kill a few.


Level 7

Starting NPC: Captain Buntattle Captain Buntattle sends you to Rivervale to help fix the Windmills there. You must first visit Merchant Samwe and purchase the parts to fix the Windmills, which are a Gear Wheel for 38 tunar, a Gold Spring for 54 tunar, and a Metal Rod for 52 tunar. Take these and find Waysender Glowbop to get sent to Rivervale. Once there, head North to find a house with Zarene Earblower. Speak with her and she sends you to find her husband Zale Earblower. Zale can usually be found wandering between the Windmills that circle the lake in Rivervale. He gives you a Scroll of Furious Defense for delivering the items, and then asks if you would retrieve a torn page that was stolen from him by a Goblin Burglar. Goblin Burglars can be found west of the wall in the Misty Thicket. Return the page to him and take the waysender back to Klick'Anon. Speak with Captain Buntattle to receive your reward, Buntattle's Greaves.


Level 10

Starting NPC: Captain Buntattle Watchman Prit is missing and it is your job to find him. He was last seen in the vicinity of the Mindwhipper Hive in Klick'Anon. When you find Prit he is speaking in gibberish. Answer him back in gibberish and report your findings to Captain Buntattle. He tells you that Kettlemaw can help you with Prit. Tell Spiritmaster Kettlemaw about Prit's condition and he says that only Kettlemaw's Brew can help knock him out of his stupor. To make his specialty he requires three items: a Bottle (purchased from Grocer Guzzlewugs in Klick'Anon for 39 tunar), some digested mushrooms (found in the bellies of the Gorged Rats wandering around the mushroom patch just outside of the Southern Gatewall), and an Ant Chitin Section (dropped by Ant Soldiers and Ant Harvesters). Bring these items back to Kettlemaw to receive his brew, then head back to Prit and have him drink it. Prit tells you he is late for a meeting with Grabble, the gnome diplomat to Kara Village, west of Klick'Anon, and he asks if you'll go in his stead. Diplomat Grabble can be found in the tall building in the northeast corner of Kara Village. When you speak to him he confuses you for Prit, the expert on Mindwhipper wasps, and asks if you could retrieve a piece of the Mindwhipper Hive which has appeared south of Kara. These do not drop off of any mob in the area. You need only step inside the hive's entrance to be prompted to take a piece of the hive, so invisibility is a must. Return the piece to Diplomat Grabble and he asks you to take it to Sergeant Grem in Klick'Anon. Give Grem the hive piece and he rewards you with a Metallic Ranseur.


Level 13

Starting NPC: Sergeant Grem Sergeant Grem wants you to investigate a rumor of a new clockwork east of Klick'Anon with the model number II PE. If you can find it, get its metal frame so he can upgrade Klick'Anon's clockwork Watchmen. II PE can be found just south of the Rogue Clockwork's village. Retrieve and return the metal frame to Grem and he tells you to return east to find either the famed clockwork inventor Allister Fobblegrop or Sergeant Grem's niece, Psova Brinkbar, one of Fobblegrop's four assistants. Find Psova and she will tell you of Unit 1, the thinking clockwork built by Fobblegrop. Unit 1, believing Fobblegrop to be "flawed" had him escorted out of the Rogue Clockwork's village and taken to the mineshaft east of Klick'Anon, where you initially found Psova wandering and confused. She and the other assistants were attacked by Rogue Clockwork rats and spiders. She saw one of her comrades fall, but knows not what has happened to the others. If you can retrieve Schematic pages 1 and 2 from the Rogue Clockwork rats and spiders, she thinks she may be able to stop the Rogue Clockworks altogether. Return the pages to her and she tells you that she needs the toolbox of her fellow assistant Camwe Gearcrafter. He was last seen heading south away from the conflict with the Rogue Clockworks. Follow the mountain range east of Psova south. A little further south of the end of the mountain range is a circle of standing stones with an eerie green glow about them. Amongst them you will find the undead remains of Camwe. Defeat the undead Camwe and retrieve his toolbox.

Return to Psova and relay the fate of Camwe to her. She is upset but knows that with the help of others she will be able to put an end to this Rogue Clockwork menace. Hand in Camwe's toolbox and you'll receive your reward, a Scroll of Rapid Strike, which is the upgraded version of the level 1 ability Quick Strike.


Level 15

Starting NPC: Sergeant Grem

  1. Talk to Teka Harnswoof (next to Master Minka). He sends you to talk to Psova, out the east gate along the mountains.
  2. Psova sends you to the clockwork village to kill a Patrol Droid XJ5 (CONs yellow cons yel), kill, loot shield, return to Psova.
  3. Psova sends you to find Allister's journal. Go to Collinridge Cemetery, find the signpost, walk up to it and read it to find the journal. To find the cemetery, go out the west gate of Klick, go west past the river, look for a building with undead all around. Be careful getting to the building, lots of reds and yellows in the area. Return to Psova.
  4. Psova sends you to Zale in Rivervale, give him the book and he sends you to talk to his wife.
  5. Zale's wife sends you to kill a mushroom man, who drops a myconid stalk. Go out the east gate of Rivervale and head east to Kithcor Forest (E), kill, loot, return to Zale's wife. Return Zale. Return to Psova.
  6. Psova sends you back to Teka Harnswoof.

Level 20

Starting NPC: Captain Buntattle

  1. Talk to Captain Buntattle, he sends you to Snafizter. To find Snafizter: Coach to Feyspire and head west into the zone of Snafizter's House (SW). You'll see an observatory area on the top of a mountain range; continue west along this mountain until you come to a house with mechanical legs.
  2. Snafizter sends you to Merchant Bryant in Mordahim to buy Mordahim ore. To find Bryant: Coach to Mordahim, Bryant is in one of the houses on the same street that the coachman is. The ore costs 640 tunar. Return to Snafizter.
  3. Snafizter sends you to kill Prophet Grug (CONs darkblue cons db to WHT?), an Orc, who is located in the caves of The Druk. Thedruk caves can be located by following the South road out of Fayspires. When you reach the bridge, follow the river south until it ends. The cave will be visible from the river's end. Prophet Grug is located at the bottom of the cave on the east side. Kill, loot bracers, return to Snafizter. Return to Captain Buntattle.
  4. Captain Buntattle sends you to Psova in Klick. To find Psova: Head out of the East Gate and make a sharp northeast turn along the mountain, follow the mountains until you come to what appears to be a mine shaft. Psova moves around a lot here.
  5. Psova sends you to Barley Sowers in Bobble-by-Water. Barley can be found farming in the city across the bridge on the west side of the city.
  6. Barley sends you to find some Wailing Tree Root to make the Hollowed Shaft. The wailing tree is northwest of Barley Sowser, in Green Rift (NE). Enter the northern area of the Green Rift zone, head for the large tree, invis yourself and enter the underground passageway. You do not have to kill anything to get the root; go north until you enter the second chamber, you'll get a message saying that you found some Wailing Tree Root. Avoid Root Spirits. In the second chamber, pull a root and return to Barley, then back to Psova.
  7. Psova sends you to kill Unit 1 in Rogue Clockworks. Head east from Psova to Rogue Clockworks, get invis and enter the Clockworks village. Unit 1 is towards the back in a house with two guards. Kill, loot log, return to Captain Buntattle.

Path 1: Bellow - Increases health & heals instantly and also a one-handed runework axe. Bellow increases your hit points by 300 and heals 300.

Path 2: Pillar of Might - Increases AC and taunts target and also a runework poleaxe. Pillar of Might is a major taunt and self AC buff for a short period of time.
